First Aston

Hi

Picked up my first Aston in the latter part of 2012.
Sep 2007 vintage, 4.3 V8V, heated/memory seats, premium audio, folding mirrors, sat nav (but I have a map in the boot),.....etc
Wasn't really familiar with Pistonheads forum last year but a friend suggested I take a look.
Fantastic ! Loads of useful info. Now I'm hooked.
I've learned massive amount. Thanks everyone.
A pic attached......needs a bit of a clean, but I'd rather be driving.

Never liked kawasakis - they don't heat the toast evenly on both sides.

My knowledge of cars is only moderately surpassed by my knowledge of bikes !!!

Kawasakis are cool! Well only if they're in bright green or orange

Welcome Dave to the AM forum, take no notice of the guys with other V8's and their inferiority complex. I for one loved my V8 4.3 and would have been perfectly happy to stick with it. Then my spots started to disappear and I got a proper job, so obviously I bought a V12

Seriously, get yourself along to a meet sometime, always great to see new owners.

Be careful of Jockers and getting caught for free cake, better off standing next to Tony as he won the lottery and buys cake . Also Nick may invite you to his lay-by , don't be fooled...... Yeti will convince you to get your car down to BR for some mods and if you add any Carbon to your car George will slag you off for ever. Oh and if you need a new watch, Woollie has an account down at JLC, so just add it to his. If you want one cheaper I can get you one from a job that is coming up in April .
