Hello

I am doing a quick engine rebuild on an S3 for a friend of mine and I have damaged to otter switch trying to remove it.A large amount of the components have be sent away to be shot blasted and stove enamelled.Taking the switch out of the top hose pipe, one of the conectors snapped off.Does any one have any idea what it is off? Ford perhaps?

Also I need to replace both engine mounts as they are past their best.Again any ideas what they are from.I seem to recall Ford Transit, but best get the right ones.

Thanks

MikeP

It's from a Metro - part number GVS104 according to alternative parts list - but have to admit I took the easy route and got one ex stock from David Gerald's recently

The push in otter switch is Metro (got one in the workshop if you want it) the large screw in one I got from TVR, probably from an oven or something

Leebee,

I will take you up on your offer it thats OK.I will call you today and I'll shoot over.

Any one any thoughts on these engine mounts? They have dropped so much the ARB is touching the sump.Thankfully no damage to either component, but obviously they need changing. Not sure what they are off, don't think they are Sierra, they look larger, which led me to believe they were Transit.I'm sure one of you Guru's will know.
