Afternoon all,

In 2 weeks time I'm re-locating my family to Milton Keynes. Since living in Bristol I've attended an excellent informal get-together of sports/prestige/rare cars and their owners at Queens Square on the second Sunday of every month. It's a great couple of hours to see all sorts of fantastic cars and have a coffee and chat to some of the owners. I take my own Mazda MX5 Mk1 down there.

I was wondering if there's anything similar in Milton Keynes? If so, when and where is it held please?

Thanks

Chris

Chris,
Check the Herts,Beds, Bucks section, especially Clophill Meets.
Do a search through the older threads for what's been going on, pretty much exactly what you are looking for and just down the road from MK

There was such an unofficial event every Sunday evening in the car park of what was the old National Hockey stadium, now Network Rail, not sure if it still happens or not, you could always start one, no shortage of places to hold it.

Thanks for that. Interestingly that's where I now work! :-)

I'd definitely be tempted to start one if nothing really exists at the moment so I might have a scout around for a suitable meeting place somewhere in MK. The meeting place in Bristol is shown below and is absolutely ideal as not only are there car park spaces all the way around but there's also a coffee shop just off one of the sides that opens especially early on a Sunday morning for us! Sometimes all four sides are full.

After office and shopping hours MK has an abundance of parking, and its very easy to keep away from residential areas which keeps everyone happy.

And you will be glad to hear MK has the first car show every year on 1st January in Stony Stratford.
