Read this weeks autocar article about the Juke Nismo. 197bhp, respectable speed, fancypants interior with suede rim (ooo missus) and sports seats, and it looks great. Also, it's only £20k.

Am I mental to want one? It's practical, looks good, goes well and will be cheap to run and bulletproof.

Does anyone else have an overwhelming urge to go out and buy one of these, or am I in a minority of one? hehe

Nope. Looks like a lot of car for 20 grand. I hated the Juke when it first came out, now I quite like it. Not enough to buy one, but if the Mrs did, I'd not be embarrased to drive it around. One of the UK's big success stories - they're everywhere around here.

Personally I'm glad it's been such a success. It might inspire some other manufacturers to create some more interesting designs.

Not really, I'm 6ft 2 and can easily carry 3 other adults in the car with no major problems, admittedly my head interfaces with the roof if I sit in the back and the boot isn't massive but it is only a B-seg platform.

Other way for me, I liked it to begin with, now think they're ugly.

hideous and ridiculous body style. A completely pointless model within the Nissan range IMO..

It's hideous, just looks like an overweight Micra

Only with all that "sport" tat, now it looks like an overweight Micra on the "Jeremy Kyle Show"

I am growing to like them, I must confess to picking up a magazine today with it on the cover and having a read up on it....then got myself on the classifieds and then over to Abby motorsports website to see what they could do to give it a bit more fizz.

You missed the point about it selling by the hundred thousand and making Nissan plenty of $$$$$!

Not pointless at all. It's a car that people like, and buy in large numbers.

Interior is quite nice, those dials look serious.

The thing about jukes is that those lights are fking horrible. looking at the front of this car is like staring down one ugly little pug. Only gets worse at night as they engage full wker beam.

There is also another hotter version coming later in the year with 218bhp...could be interesting.
