It looks like the Festival of Power will have separate competition for Top Fuel and Fuel Funny car. Any ideas on how many cars we will see?

Same question for Pro Modified, will all the British cars be out?

Looking forward to seeing that, any chance of a sneak preview please? Does the Corvette have a new owner now?

Out of interest, what is the lowest ambient temperature that Fuel cars will be safe to run at?

The last time it snowed at Easter we ran late Monday afternnon and i think it was around 3 deg air temp and track around the same , i/8 mile only but it hooked up

One issue is that starting an ali engine from cold at that low temp is not a good idea, Andys car had pre heated oil put in it.

Couple decent low 5/high 4s at flame & thunder events in the past where it's been around 4/5 degrees. I'd imagine most fuel cars will be running preheated oil or similar

I plan to be at Santa Pod on Monday. I am a motorsports artist and I will have my camera with me and will be getting up close to some beautiful vehicles. Let me know if you are racing and would like me to feature yours. It will also be my birthday, so be nice to me.

I have been up today and the car parks were in worrying condition. Apparently they got in a real state at the fast Show and have not really recovered. Tomorrow will be interesting!

But the new track surface has looked very impressive. Despite being so 'green' and cold, it's held all the power today's Sportsman racers have thrown at it.
