I was cutting the neighbours brambles from around my Freesat dish the other day and must have moved it because I have now got no signal. Is there a way that a numpty like me could put it back how it was or do I need professionals? There is a spirit level and the bubble is way off centre. Also I can see the telly from under the dish through the window, so how long would I need to wait between moving the dish and the feed coming through to the telly?

Thanks.

There should be a settings menu on your remote that shows the signal strength and quality, there is on both of my Freesat boxes, if you can get that on the screen you should be able to see when you've moved it back to the correct alignment.

There are dish alignment apps that work quite well.

No time at all, just move it about 'till you get a picture.

Before you start moving anything check the cable. You may have pulled the cable out of the plug.
