Where can i look at live japanese car auctions? there's a specific vehicle that i'd like to keep my eye out for, and i'd like to see if they ever go through the auctions out there.

Don't keep us in suspense, what car are you after?
Here's hoping it's something exciting like an 800hp Nissan Stagea in lurid yellow, and not some boring MPV for dull reasons like the last guy who posted a thread about Japanese auction cars.Other cars I will accept to save the thread:
- 1200hp Supra with full TRD widebody package - colour optional
- V8 converted drift-spec Silvia (any generation)
- MR2 turbo/V6 built for mental Touge driving
- bike-engined Suzuki Cappucino as per the recent front page article
- 20B powered MX5 with Pit Crew front end and absurd aero package.
Looking forward to hearing which option you're going for - don't let the thread down

Which spec one? There is a VX Limited Snow edition on ebay, a rare JDM model with all the difflocks, I'll try & find a link to it.
They are hugely expensive in Japan at the moment
something like this would be good. They are hugely expensive in Japan at the moment
The UK cars always have difflocks (which is a necessity), but never had reat tyre carriers, beds, roof racks, winches etc etc
there is a JDM spec that is basically an "overland" with water, shower, winches, difflocks etc- basically a ready to go overlander. Thought it might be a bit cheaper than kitting out a fully built 80 or 100 series (having built an overland 80 series i know how much you can spend- or not if you do it all yourself
)Linky to that snow spec one would be great.

They are about, I think a chap in the village has a v8 one with the winch it is lovely but its not out much.
I have access to Japan auctions. Send me a message and I'll point you where you want to be.
One thing I would say is the cheapest place to buy a Land Crusier at the moment is the UK. Asides from rust/abuse, they're comparative bargains to the rest of the world and you're unlikely to find anywhere selling them cheaper. The combo of good exchange rates and the mighty value of the LC abroad mean what's left in Japan are going to Australia and Africa. Our exchange rate has improved markedly but they're still not a good buy for export to the UK. You'll pay more overall than you would here. However if you're more concerned about spec than price it's definitely worth investigating. I'm not trying to put you off - just reporting current market conditions.

A 4.7 v8 off road prepped landcruiser.
It needs to be a certain spec which is rare in Japan and impossible to fnd in the uk.
Lurid yellow would be fine
