Just had 'er indoors Focus MOT'd and it passed with an advisory on the front suspension arm (rear) bush worn but with no excess movement. He advised it would probably need doing in the future and certainly by the next MOT. I'm no spanner monkey, so what's the likely damage for a replacement?

Not much. Ring the garage and find out? It's a more reliable (and faster) method than asking random people in the Interwebs I'm afraid.

A garage can quote whatever they like and I'd be non the wiser. However a mechanic or person who has had it done can give an accurate price. That's why people post on the internet, in the hope of receiving helpful advice.

Genuine arms are £160+VATeach from memory? Give 1.2hours to fit them.
Aftermarket arms will be considerably cheaper.
Ford don't sell the rear bush separate - you can get them aftermarket for £15 or so but they can be a pain to remove from the arm so will be more labour intensive.
