Classic British Bike via CycleScheme?

Its almost that cylescheme time again. I'm looking to buy an all British road bike, up to £1000. Ideally I'd like a Mercian. Does anyone know of a shop that sells for example restored Mercian cycles, but also takes cyclescheme.co.uk vouchers?

You will be lucky to find a restored Mercian for under a £1k and I dont know many people who deal in similar classic stuff who are cyclescheme members but Brother Cycles might be worth a call and you can try buying a frame from Hilary Stone, then find a bike with as many compatible parts from a cyclescheme vendor and swop htem over but I dont think much will transfer direct unfortunately. I know Dave Yates said he'd happily supply a frame to a shop that ordered it from him if they dealt with cyclescheme. Again, no idea how you'd do it for a grand. Even £2k is going to leave you with a Tiagra build, isn't it?

I was thinking of a shop that sold restored British bikes, but also have to accept CycleScheme voucher!. Perhaps such a place doesnt exist.
Not really interested in anything Carbon or the latest gadget. Just looking to buy a classic British racer/touring bike to go with the Pashley & Brompton!
