How do i put a price on this?? help please
Discussion
I have a 2006 Mini Cooper S replica, the car is actually an r56 cooper, i bought the car as a damaged vehicle, it had very little damage, a headlight and bonnet, no airbag damage suspension damage etc
I replaced the bonnet with a Mini Cooper S bonnet and fitted a John Cooper Works kit,
My Problem is as damaged repaired vehicle, how do i put a price on it?? i understand it will be less than normal, maybe 15-20%, the car has only covered 38000 miles and is spotless
any help would be much apprieciated
thanks

The vehicle was recorded as a cat c, I still don't understand why, maybe the insurance assessor was having a bad day, the damage was fixed within a day, I will upload a photo and let people give me their own opinion to what it is worth, a straight one would make around £7500,
It's just hard sometimes trying to convince people that there was only very light damage, I have seen cars needing reshelled and listed as a cat D.......

I know its after the fact , but you haven't got any pics of the car when it was damaged i.e before repair ?
But if not I'd say £5800 as a private sale.
This. If you've got that up at anywhere near £7k and your (to be commended) honesty you'll get nowhere. But if not I'd say £5800 as a private sale.
Good luck though, i'm looking for one of these myself.

I think I will stick it up for £5800 and see how I get on, as I have said earlier the car is spotless, new tyres fully serviced etc, I can't say to much or it will look like a blatant plug to sell the car, I will stick it up on here later and try fleabay too,
Cheers for the help!
I think if you put the before pics up too you'll get more people to look at the car.Cheers for the help!
Its not a cooper S it's a cooper and there is a lot of difference to the serious buyer. I love the Cooper S but think the Cooper is pretty standard for people who can't afford the S.
£5800 for a nice looking car is sensible. But I wouldn't pay it.
Good luck
