Thought i would ask here about plasti dip on behalf of mother....

What spray gun would i need for it? dipyourcar.com doesnt state what gun they sell/use so thought i would ask if you people know.

From what ive seen its a wagner hvlp of some sort.

Surely any spray gun capable of spraying a car would be suitable.

Any spray gun with a nozzle big enough. One for the clear coat won't work for example.
Also, you will most like need more thinner in a ratio than advised on Plastidip, however you don't have to buy it from them. Normal thinner works just as well.

That looks a bit crap.

I know what you mean. When I looked into it the people at dyc.com reckoned they get better results with these cheap guns than with proper spray guns. Not sure why exactly. There are quite a few vids on you tube from Fonzie at dip your car, I think he explains why in one of them.
