redcard Get those back boxes polished up young man !!!

Beautiful colour, we use ours all year round as well, can't understand the logic of 'sorning' it until spring, just got ours back from service,MOT, and the fitting off my xmas pressie from the wife, fully adjustable coilovers and 'oh my god what an improvement', just need a few more days like yesterday to fully play with the settings.

I,d be interested in the details of the coilovers. Maybe you could PM me?
I read that the Tuscan S has new suspension to suit the 18" rims and it certainly feels much more stable than my previous early model Tuscan. Trying to get used to the quick steering again now after driving a 911 for a while.

Ah the best colour for a TVR.... but then I am biased!. You might want to re-think the number plate spacing. Driving something loud n' proud like a TVR is bound to attract attention, not all the plod will appreciate it and thats an easy £60 for somebody not quite on thier quota!

No problem, but no big secret. My 2003 model MK 1 at 10 years old was suffering from shock weep and sagging springs, (even given the feather weight they carry). Last Mot identified weeping on nearside rear shock. Decided it was time to replace with Gaz Gold Prof Kit as advised for my driving style (No track use, lots of fast road and touring).

The TVR specialist in question took measurements of my ride height before fitting and found that my car sat at 10mm lower at the back and 6mm lower at the front than he would normally set the Gaz's at, even allowing for settling in !! All down to shocks and springs failing over 10 years.

The car now does not crash and bang over our horrendous uneven, potholed roads, corners flatter and more stable than even 2 years ago when i purchased with only 21 k on the clock, and instills even more confidence with corners and speed, no more rear end shimmy for me. If the average rep mobile with 21k on the clock handled the way my supposedly fine tuned/ fit for purpose sports chassis did, then law suits and major corporate legal mitigation would be underway by now.

Still, i loved it then, just even more now.
Cooper.
