Hi folks! Nah, im not dead, just busy with work and family duties. To be honest ive only been out in the car 3 times since i bought it and its going back to the bodyshop this week to get a couple of bits adjusted so im also trying to keep it clean before it goes.

This is what ive confirmed so far though:

Not as finely tuned as the M5 with regards to handling but its not far off. The only time this would ever make any difference to me as a driver would be on a track, and i'm not going there. Its fine on the twisties and better than the M5 on the straights. If i needed the extra handling ability, the public highway would not be where i'd be wanting it. In the wet however the C63 is as tameable as a greased eel, deadly and undriveable when the TC is fully off.
Quicker than the M5 to 100 leptons. The extra 30bhp really does make the difference and ive got standard 457bhp C63 owners agreement on that. P31 over P30 is night and day in the same way the RS6 Plus is noticibly quicker than the RS6.
Sound: Yeah the C63 is not to be compared. The V10 in the M5 was epic and i love it for what it is. But, that 6.2V8 is something else.
Fuel economy. I averaged 17mpg in the M5 and so far the C63 is getting me 23mpg around the same routes. Positively economical!!

Do i miss the M5? Not yet, but ive not got used to the C63 thus far. Can i see myself looking back at the M5 with regrets about the C63? No! Its so different that i really dont want it to be a measuring test. They are what they are and have different uses.
