Based in HK?, supplying Canon UK goods, will HMRC jump on them, Panamoz say they will cover duty charges if incurred..

they have the Canon 600d with the 18-55mm lens at £391 and 5% less if paying by BACS

too good to be true?

In some ways, yes. They send items in mis-labelled parcels with negligible values on them, so that's at least a 20% saving over UK prices right there (technically you should be informing HMRC once goods are received and paying up).

Secondly they are not UK goods, so are not eligible for Canon UK promotions, cash-back or most importantly warranty work, faulty items need to be returned to Panamoz directly. I'm not sure on the current situation with Canon but Sigma won't touch grey imports, even out of warranty paid repairs.

Personally I'm not comfortable with a company that emails customers offering them money to write positive reviews and forum posts, but on the plus side they do deliver very quickly and I've never heard of any major issues with them.

Also remember you have zero protection paying by BACs.
