Ginetta G10/11

With all this talk recently of GTO/RS200 etc replicas, and the regulat Sebring MGB threads on the classic & heros forum, i was wondering if anyone had ever thought about a Ginetta G10 or 11 replica. Base would be an MGB, obviously, and could be a more practical Cobra with the right motor.

Looking at Carfolio the MX5 is a pretty good match aswell (wheel base within 0.8", front and rear track about 2" different) and there are kits to put an LS v8 in them readily available.

There is a certain irony, when for some years Ginetta were a kit car manufacturer. TBH if I was looging ofr a ginetta replic I would look at the G12 although G11 is pretty impressive.

I also think I want another G33 if I can find one, or maybe a late G20

As an ex Ginetta owner, I'm embarrassed to say I've never come across the G10 before. I think it's a great looking car and if anyone was to produce an affordable kit, I would be interested.
