Number Plate Question - Importing a car

If I import a car built August 1990 which has not been registered in the UK before, the car is unmodified, does anyone know once registered whether you will get a 1990 prefix "H" or a "Q" or a current registration?

It's based on when the car was first registered elsewhere otherwise they go by the build date iirc.

August 1990, yep that'd be an H plate.
