Yep, twice in the same week I've managed to make a complete muppet of myself with my Mondeo.

1. It was dark, I was late for work & managed to pour the Windscreen fluid into the Power Steering chambre. Completely topped it up before noticing. It has been alright up to now but how easy is that to fix/bleed?

2. Popped to the station to fill up for the week yesterday. VPower Diesel was out of order and I stupidly grabbed the Unleaded and managed to put in £3.70's worth. I already had a little over a half full tank of Diesel & then filled the tank to the top with another £26 odd of Diesel. Will this just fizzle out or should I get it looked at?

If I had hair it would defo be blonde ha ha. Thanks.

Should be okay with the petrol. The power steering on the other hand, if you haven't sorted it already will need a lot of flushing with power steering fluid.

If you're lucky, the windscreen fluid will float on top of the PS fluid and it hasn't been sucked into the pump. I suspect it's all mixed together though if you've been using the car, so you will need to take the return pipe off, and flush it through with 5 or 10 liutres of fresh PS fluid before it knackers the seals on your pump or rack.

I once managed to put engine oil in a passat power steering fluid reservoir.

I was young, and the car was my dads so nothing was ever said. Worked for another 15,000 miles before he changed the car.

I've done the power steering one. Circa £450 on power steering strip down and replacing seals.
