Miss April

The other day I was sent a link to a 2013 Aston Martin calendar from Avonside Publishing by someone mentioning that a picture of my car was in it, obviously I had to order it knowing nothing more about this and here we go, Miss April!







Bit of a surprise, I can tell which friend is in my passenger seat so I have a vague idea of when it's taken but I'm not sure exactly beyond that!

It's quite good when it happens This was found in 'The Car book' by Dorling Kindersley... I knew PRECISELY when it was taken, car was in the pre-66 car park of Goodwood Revival 2009! Only time it appeared with the tiny front number plate, after that it just had a stick-on one.

When I turned over to February on my Top Gear calendar In my office I had a little smile to myself. Come on guys - I bet I'm not the only one to have one? This month's photos are of the Pagani Hyuara. Not my favourite car but taken by my favourite photographer: Jamie Lipman.

It's a year old story now .... but when we were on location with Evo last year, Jamie was on the team and he was fantastic! Completely dedicated to his job and seen blue with cold hanging out of the back of a car, low to the ground, photographing the speeding car following behind. Just like the 3rd shot here:
