Car stickers/vinyl

Hello people,

Just quickly, im thinking about doing something similar to Porsches Pink Pig 917 Racer (you know, the race car that had cut lines on and meat cuts on) for a short term giggle.

Ive had a quick look on ebay as im after something thats about 100mm wide (for the cut marks) but what ive found is paint protection film, now im wondering, if i applied this film and when it comes to peeling it off, will it take the lacquer with it?

Im just after some cheap not ultra sticky 'vinyl' but i dont know where to get it from.

So any ideas?
