Ain't played any computer games for 20 years or so, last night whilst cleaning out the attic I came accross a BIG box fiiled with 80-90's games for amstrad & PC, including chuckie egg, doom, doom2, herietic, hexen, duke nukem, quake, tomb raider etc etc. these are still in the original boxess with booklets etc.
Do people collect old games like vinyl/cd's etc or only fit for the wheelie bin?
A quick try showed me that hereitc plays on my win7 lappy at like 3000 frames/sec so smoooothe actionbiggrin

Just took a quick look on ebay - none of my original issue games on there, I'm surprised there's not a collectors market for these originals, or is it like vinyl Lp's - that there ain't no originals left?
Plenty of reissues of some of what I found in the attic though at £2.99 or lessfrown

Any chance of posting a list OP? Especially the PC games.

Alternatively you may get more money for them on Amazon - worth checking prices on both smile

Post a list please, also include whether they disks or CDs please.

I am looking for Betrayal At Krondor - the CD version with the orchestra soundtrack. But would love Doom and such.

Try googling for shops that sell that kinda stuff in your area.

I found a shop not far from me that was happy to take over (buy) my collection of old 8 bit NES games a while ago.
He tested everything first and made me an offer after a few days.
