Trying to Figure out if my car is running ok.
Car is a Starlet Turbo.

When on boost at WOT the car is running a good 11.4 afr.
But when off boost at low RPM (1500-2000) When i plant the foot my afr goes to 16 until the car builds up boost.

Is this normal?

Cheers

Even off boost, if you are WOT that is too lean IMO. Some leaning is good for spool, but that's really lean on WOT, even before boost.

How quick does it richen up?

Have you taken any logs?

It richens as soon as it comes out of vacuum.
Got the fuel set now so it only goes as high as 15 under the same circumstances. Is that better, or should it be richer?

Would be good if you could log from the ecu and wideband.

Still a bit lean but almost at stoich. In my experience it would be better to be a bit richer still so its smoother, but its hard to say without seeing some logs. As long as its not knocking and drives smooth then it should be ok.

Do you run it on 99 Ron?

if you are closed loop then 16.1 is never normal on throttle it should hover around 14.1 and drop under full throttle
