My son has a 928s in US spec, with all the receipts etc (over £30k) for converting it to an S4 spec. 5 litre engine and RHD.
It is a 1986 car but on a private plate and has done just under 150k miles. With a dot in the right place the 920 number can look like a 928 - although I wouldn't condone this of course!
It's in lagoon metallic (like Jaguar Seafrost) and has a Thatcham Class 1 alarm. It's also got magnolia and black leather interior. It has teardrop mirrors and 18 inch Porsche Cup split rims.
Since he's now after a bike, I've agreed to sell it on his behalf but haven't a clue on what it's worth.
I'm about to get the belts changed, the small paintwork blemishes sorted and the gas changed in the air cond.
Can anyone suggest a decent and reasonable asking price please?

Bit of a how long is a piec of string really, guessimg LHD as ex US? Auto also? trouble is its a bit of a hotch potch no mater what the conversion cost, so you will have to find the right buyer, it might even be worth more in bits than complete.
Loath to say a price really certainly not a huge amount & although at a low price level im sure you would get a fair bit of interest, price it higher though & you will be waiting for that 'right' buyer to come along.
So as a start £3k & up??

Yep up in Cheshire.
Will check with son but the engine was in it when he bought it last year. The guy was apparently emigrating.
Was originally RHD but with US spec leather dash etc., so I'm told. 5 litre engine supposedly original too.
I'm tempted to buy it and run it myself but not decided yet.
