Why can't people use channel names? Why do they have to post the channel number on a specific platform and leave those who use other providers having to guess which channel they're blathering on about?

Wouldn't it have been easier to say "ITV 4" instead?

Fair enough for you on Freeview, but for ITV 4 Sky customers use 120, Virgin Media use 118 and Freesat use 117, but if you just post the free view number others might not know what channel you're going on about.

It's just a pet hate of mine.

And ITV 4 takes less time to type than Freeview Channel 24, if time is of the essence then that's a bit of a fail biggrin

Time is always of the essence ... except when I'm in a leisurely more wasteful mood or mode. As a lifelong professional layabout ... time comes and goes I find and waits for no man.

Even less seriously, no, not longer if that "lengthy" title you've already used before and as soon as you start to type it, it self loads the FULL title after typing Fre...or, less, like wot I done ... init..

That's what it did ... so there ... an ace predictive time saver. Aint technology wunnerful ?

I can split hairs finer that yow .... Plus, my fails are superior to yours n'all .. hehe

Did yow watch it before splitting those hairs ? I did ... great stuff.

Lots of hehe

Very true Gaz. Things evolve and develope including threads which have been known to go orf at an acute tangerine. Well known fact. Ask that Darwin geezer... he knew about this evolution stuff long before those Orientals at Mitsubishi who in reality, know Zero.

Now I've lost my thread about this thread. Extreme concentration deficit just kicked out.

Anyway, he started it. Yes he did going off topic on a tangerine.

True, but being a mug, do not and did not mump off the state. Paid all my taxes instead.... rolleyes

Foolishly, I waited until I could actually afford two children only which previously cost a fortune in contrawossnames. Should have had loads of beautiful kids like the only two and would be a state funded millyonaire long ago and my good lady a serial broodmare.

Even if I could afford to add to Murdoch's monopoly, which I can actually, some of us on principle have principals. Or, should that be principals and principles?

Ummm... errr... what was the question again? Severe concentration deficit just kicked in....on account of extreme agedness.

Have a nice one to all our readers ... wink

Oy! Butt out. No such thing as time anyway, only one continuous now.

Bluddy PHers... what a bunch of nit-picking nit pickers.

Wish I had not bovvered.... init.

.. rofl

EDIT to add @ 10:54

More seriously whilst my attention span allows, I must add my findings. Most other web sites I use include a time and date alongside all the posts ~ for some reason, cheapskate PH do not .. Hard times and all that .... wink
