Fiat Bravo 2.0 M-jet sport.

So my old Focus didn't last too long so was on the hunt for something new. Wasn't looking for these but one popped up on Autotrader that looked good with low miles and good condition. Got an insurance qoute and was pleased to only have to pay £35 extra! Took a day off work and went up to Accrington, coaxing the Focus there, with the girlfriend to have a look and hopefully bring it back down. Everything checked out when we got there and it drove very well on the test drive so a deposit was left and it went off for its MOT while we sat in the pub across the road. Very much enjoyed the long, problem free, drive home.
Had it now for 3 weeks and covered nearly 2000 miles so far with only one hiccup and a slight coming together with a high curb.
Haven't got many good pictures yet but hope to be detailing it this weekend so will get plenty then.
Only 240 miles worth of dirt in that last picture! The one downside of a white car.

How are you coping with the sports seats. For some reason they gave me leg ache lol.
Im sure your bravo is alot better than mine. Altho i had issues i lved the car. Have fun

Yeah. Tbh my issues were customer care issues. The car should of been sorted but after 11 weeks i managed to get a refund and bought the smart car.
It was a 1.9 130bhp bravo active with sports pack. Interior etc.
I loved the car but was glad when it went as it was 11 weeks of arguments. Tears and frustration

The strange thing is that you don't feel the power at all, just the surge of lovely torque! Have already dusted off a couple of tailgaters on the motorway.I'm a bit biased seeing as its Italian, M-jet and white (see my profile - lol)

Had one of these a few years ago as a hire car which we took upto Manchester and back. It was a 130bhp petrol version and it was quick and suprised a fair few cars on the motorway.
Only issue we found was if you pulled the passenger seat forward, the shape of the dash meant you had to sit at an odd angle otherwise your legs got crushed.

I bet it made loads of photos being parked near the LP640, my door is just about visible in most images

My mate had one of these although he had the 1.4 turbo petrol. It had a nice bit of midrange 'ooomph' about it. He had to get the gearbox rebuilt at 40,000 miles though! Apparently they are a known weak spot. Does the diesel use the same 'box?
Not really sure but think it might be different, if not just beefed up. Well I know someone who has the 1.4 T-jet and is pushing 200bhp and on about 70,000 and hasn't missed a beat yet so hopefully your mate just got a duff box!Gassing Station | Readers' Cars | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
