TVR REDGLOW PEARL Paint
Discussion
I had a graze on the front wing of my tuscan and when i contacted Racing Green to see how much it would cost to have it sprayed i was horified as they said that the car may have to be resprayed totaly! as this colour was unobtainable.
However GOOD NEWS, i managed to contact PPG who made the original solvent based paint (which is now illegal to spray and it looks like they will confirm a formulation for the new type of water based paint.
from the various paint lists i found that tvr-116 is just called REDGLOW Pearl wiht no further info but crosschecking it with other lists i found the line below PPG 041 REDGLOW PEARL TVR.*0046 DELTRON
which is what i used when talking to PPG
i'll keep in touch when its all confirmed...

I personally wouldn't rely on paint codes alone and would get it spectrographed
personal experience and most reputable places will do this anyway, notvrelying on the iffy paint codes tvr have which are sometimes different to whats on the car or affected by natural changes etc. I had my front end resprayed to remove stone chips and like yours mines a 3 stage pearl etc and its been perfectly blended so there might be hope for you

Get in touch with S&D or Malcolm potato muncher on here . He has sprayed my redglow pearl Tuscan few times and has some of the original mix specs for cars from the factory. Redglow has been in a number of variations.
Surface and design based at the old tvr factory, manned by guys who used to paint the originals.

I had mine resprayed by the chaps at Specialised Paintworks in Reading and they did a very good job. I think Targarama also had his done there some time back. The colour is available but if you are having a partial respray there may be a slight colour difference due to fade of the original.
After the respray:
