car keeps stalling on tickover........

so, my ka engined fiesta keeps stalling when on tick over, but when you rev it it is fine.

have been told that it is a air bypass valve air idle speed control valve


is that right? and im guessing its fairly easy t change over as, again, i have been told its on the top of the engine.

just saying this again incase anyone misses it, its a KA engine. 1300cc


and before you ask, the car has a KA engine in it, which is the same size as before but was changed to KA cause the person who owned it before me didnt top the oil up and it seized.

Remove, clean with lots of carb cleaner. Refit.

If it doesn't work then replace it.
