Guys I made the mistake of putting some rain x anti fog on the inside of my windows. The stupid stuff seems to attract more moisture then it does preventing it and to compound matters further my windscreen now iced up on the inside when cold!

My question is how do I get this wretched stuff off? Iv tried various different glass cleaning products to no avail and don't really want to have to buy a new product to remove it.

Bizarre - are you sure you've put it on correctly? I use it on the inside of all the glass on my Alfa 75 trackcar (which doesn't have a heater) and it's great. Even during a cold day of constant rain at Mallory Park it kept the inside fog free.

I followed the instructions on the bottle, applied it to the windows, buffed off and then put a second layer on following the same process. Maybe a bad batch?!

If you really can't get it off why not try re applying
it. Nothing to lose and it does work.

Never buffed it off before, always applied it in one go and leave it, worked a treat every time Ive used it. There is a sort of art to putting it on, wet enough for the streaks to flow out but not enough to let it run.

I squirt a load onto a pad of paper towel, rub straight onto window. Allow to evaporate and clear, repeat any missed areas.

Another reason for not using Rain-X is their financia; support for odious fake road safety charity BRAKE.

Glad to hear the product is st too!
