LED dash lights

I am fitting some LED bulbs at the moment and I am wondering if anyone has a link to the small bulb in the early Chimaeras in the clock (think its a 281 bulb) I fitted some to a couple of Chimaeras last year but can't find the website I got them from. Just wondering if anyone has bought some recentley. Cheers

have a look on fleabay at item number 400357622450 is this the right bulb? i was looking through the other day & wondered if it will fit? mines a 94 car, black bezels.

I'm pretty sure it won't fit due to the white plastic band below the lens - it won't slip up into the tube that the holder fits in. (Also the lens would end up with a bright hotspot in the gauge - you need "bulbs" with LEDs aranged in all directions...)

I dont think it will either but I'll see if I can "make it" fit the one I got last year was one with LED's on all axis.

I'll be putting a new dash in mine shortly, would quite like to do the LED upgrade. Do any of you have a link for the bulbs that fit in the rest of the clocks?

I did find and fit the correct bulb and I am pretty sure the size you need for the clock is BA7S.

I did take loads of pics when I when I replaced the dash but I cant find them right now. I can fish them out if you need them?

The two rev counter ones are 501's and all the others (bar the clock on the earlier ones) are 233's.

From memory I think the later ones were 233's the same as all the other smaller dials.

They should work, once I have mine I'll put the links up these are the 233's I ordered which I have fitted in the past to the smaller gauges.
