Hi,

In the process of having a new clutch and lightened flywheel installed in the car. Popped to the garage last night and I need to grab a couple of extra parts for them. One is the spigot bearing but having trouble identifying the 2nd part.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Cheers,
Phill

Looks like the cup and ball from the plate of the remote gear change. There should be a circlip with it that holds it in. Available from all good TVR spares stockists (and some bad ones).

yes and the other bit looks like the pilot/spigot bearing from the end of the crankshaft.

I would hazard a guess at a brake disk and zip tie and remote gear linkage ball joint. What do I win?

Easy job, you will need to use the hydraulic method to remove the old one

Not sure I would reuse a bronze spigot bush unless your certain its not worn as this is the only support for the front of the input shaft and is vital for gearbox front bearing life wink its not like they are expensive wink fitting can be done with a suitably sized socket and a soft faced hammer if you value your socket set biggrin

Lightened flywheel came from je enigineering. £60 with your old flywheel in exchange.
