- Avg servicing costs
- Avg MPG
- Miles to a tank
- Cost to fill tank
- Pads and discs costs

Avg MPG = according to the onboard, it's at 19.8mpg (calculated = 18.8mpg)
Miles to a tank = Largely dependant on driving style. Can easily be 160 miles but can also stretch to 275 miles. Normal is 240-250 miles for me.
Cost to fill tank = £85 worth of V-Power.
You forgot to ask about tyres - they have a rather ferocious appetite for them...
Re owners - not that unusual tho a bit high - depends if it was a demo car etc etc - a lot of folk seem to move performance cars on after a year - the bloke who sold mine ran it for under a year and then bought a c350 diesel... His loss my gain!

- Avg MPG :- 18-20mpg combined, 6mpg on track
- Miles to a tank :- 200 miles for mainly motorway
- Cost to fill tank :- £85, it is only a 66litre tank
- Pads and discs costs :- I have the performance pack plus which are a lot more. Front discs and pads were £2300
Tyres are a big issue, they can chew through a set of rears in 4000 miles. Yokos lasted 6000 and Pilot Super Sports la st around 10000.
My car is similar to the one you linked to, I have no need for an estate but prefer the looks and absolutely love it.

Don't need an estate at all. Just thought it looked better than saloon....I concur with running costs too. Average mpg is 19.5 and a full tank lasts around 200 miles dependant on how hard to press the loud pedal.
Just had mine go through the A2 service at £457.
Tyres wear quickly. Roughly 2:1 rear to front. Mine has Continental Sports 3. Had 5's on the rear but although giving seemingly better grip, wore quicker.
But you can forgive all this for the noise and experience in driving one...

Around 2010 they were only building 60 or so RHD estates a year and they were all built to order, the finance offers were only on saloons which were built and shifted as stock cars. It was later toward 2011 that the finance deals came out for the estate as well.
If you look at something like Autotrader, there are 50 saloons, 48 Coupes and only 8 estates on there.
Without wanting to take this OT, what is yours up for Kev? I was looking to advertise mine at 37K and I think our specs are the same - PPP, LSD, 19" wheels, Carbon interior/exterior etc. Am I peeing in the wind.

Its on PH for £34750 and everyday get offers ranging from £28 -£32k mainly from dealers. My mileage is probably higher than yours at 35600?If you look at something like Autotrader, there are 50 saloons, 48 Coupes and only 8 estates on there.

It's damn tempting. Just waiting on a few answers from the lease company.
I'm thinking red estate (shame they don't do more bright colours):
Standard spec seems very good for a german car!
ETA: I had a Monaro a few years ago so I'm not stranger to terrible fuel economy :P

It is indeed. When the car mags compare the C63 vs M3 on cost, the Merc is always quoted as being more expensive, however it has many items as standard that are an option on an M3 (folding mirrors, speed limit asist, heated seats, elec seats with mem, fr parking sensors, sunroof).Had my 2010 P31 Saloon for 3 weeks now and love it. Having come from an excellent BMW E61 M5 i wasnt sure id like it as much but so far so good. MPG is averaging north of 21mpg for my commute. Also have the composite brakes but my man on the inside tells me i need not to bother with the comp brakes when its time to refit the discs and just have the regular C63 ones fitted. Only about £150 a disc for the standard ones it think. The only place the comp discs show any benefit is on the track, and im not going there.
Ref tyres, ive read somewhere that if you have the rear alignment set to neutral the trye wear is greatly improved with very little in the way of effect on the handling. Any thoughts from long term owners?
