With Yo La Tengo and Eels already released albums and the life changing surprise release from My Bloody Valentine, 2013 could be a classic year... Flaming Lips and British Sea Power already anounced for April releases.....

New Voivod is pretty good,
New Suffocation album out next week is getting brilliant reviews,
Evile & Carcass are both in studios right now
D.A.M, Cancerous Womb & Bludvera should hopefully be releasing new EPs sometime this year, too.

Looking forward to the Fouls new release , by all accounts it will make them next level

Brought Biffy Clyro new one last week and its OK, but I am a old school Biffy fan and to me they are going backwards musically but still making very good music, just not as interesting or intricate as they were on there first two albums

+1 on Foals. I thought they would be a short lived NME darling type band when they first emerged, with no growth or follow up success, but I've been continually impressed by them. Very good musicians, and I loved the last album.

I bought the 2 CD version of the Biffy Album... Too much Biffy! I agree not very interesting, and it didn't need to be a double album.

I'm also looking forward to the new Amplifier album next month.

My album of the year so far is Anthems by Pure Love. Frank Carter from Gallows new band. A massive departure from the punk sound of Gallows, Frank has a really good singing voice.
