Hi,

I'm new to Piston Heads so go easy on me!!!

I currently drive a Honda S2000 but am looking to upgrade shortly. I have looked at a number of cars (cayman, boxster, Z4, M3 etc), but the one that seems to tick all the boxes is the Audi RS4 Convertable.

I'm going to arrange a test drive shortly but what I am looking for is general advice from current owners on the following:

1. What are the normal service intervals and costs?

2. Are there any known issues with the car (I have read somewhere that there are failures with the DRC suspension and the TFSI engine needing to be decoked). I would like to know if readers have experienced such problems and if there were massive costs associated or whether these are covered by warranties.

3. Following on from 2 above, have there been any factory recalls?

4. What are the costs for tires and brakes (just the standard brakes - not ceramic as I may have to re-morgage if that was the case!)

5. Are there any day-to-day niggles that aren't really faults but are annoying?

6. Any other info that may be of use!

Thanks in advance (and apologies If I have posted this in the wrong place....)

Report back how the TD goes. I did consider one of these but all the reviews were so awful that I canned it. Supposed to be so much wobble involved its beyond being able to overlook it.

I drove a friends 3.0 A4 conv and that was like a waterbed! Appreciate its a different animal but must have similar chassis. I came from a tt and z4 conv at the time and certainly noticed a massive difference.
