Long time admirer, from a distance. One day, I'd like to own an NSX.
I'm getting s little concerned they're getting a little long in the tooth though... have I left it too late or will they be a feasible proposition in a couple of years?

Agreed, they are only going to go up in price. I'm also a big fan but haven't found one within my price range yet. A worthwhile investment and I'm sure if it's looked after well you would at least break even if not properly make money when it came to sell again.

If your after one I think the best place to look would be on the Japanese auction sites.

Get one that's been supercharged >;)

I heard that a lot were sat ready for export when the tsunami hit so in a few minutes they became a lot rarer , i think the prices have already bottomed out personally

I don't think they look too shabby considering their age (this one is a 1996 model, private plate but an accurate one):

I saw one recently.
Absolutely awesome looking thing, even when parked up in a retail park!

Years ago I saw one up for 12k ( J reg ), and thought "Ohh in a few years I could have one of those when the prices come down a bit more". Never seen one that cheap again. Of course it might just have been a total dog but prices do seem to be going the "wrong" way.

Not many around, and they are easily written off through panel damage and eye-watering replacement costs. Late models tend to get exported to Hong Kong, too.

Yen rate is so bad that importing is unrealistic. Very few have been SCed in Britain, too. Find many more in the USA.

I'm looking for one, too...
