Ok at the risk of inviting LEGAL ACTION.... Porsche dealerships, anybody got or had any good/ bad experiences worth mentioning >????

I live and work in between 3 of them and before i buy, was wondering if they are pretty much all the same or if one or two stand out from the crowd with levels of help/assistance offered and VALUE.. for a Novice Porsche owner????

Any help or WARNINGS greatly appreciated, been to Guildford and Mid-sussex briefly and going on test drive next tuesday at MS....Thanks

I've been happy with my dealings with Mid Sussex, Bristol & Reading. All seem to be helpful.

I haven't experienced great care at Mayfair and Guildford though - although I'm sure others have.

I have only had dealing with Byfleet and Sheffield.

The service from both of them has been amazing. I could not have asked for more.

Leicester Seem all above board and helpful. I've been/called them on a couple of 'none issues' and they have given me time and coffee - oh and their loo is like something off Grand Designs!

Bournemouth OPC have been very helpful and extremely reasonably priced smile looks like they may be a minority?

OPC Leicester have been a pleasure during my current purchase, a continuation of the standards they set with previous purchases.

Its worth the long drive up to wonder at the Buck Rogers toilet as Timbo touched apon.

I found Mid Sussex very enthusiastic, Reading very knowledgable, Guildford a bit snotty and disinterested, and Portsmouth just incompetent. All on sales side last Autumn. The deal was done at MS.

IME experience you get quite different attitudes between dealers, some of which may be due to different ownership. I think those above are Sytner, PGB, PGB and Inchcape respectively. They also vary in price.

I have always found Reading very good, though they are round the corner from me so very convenient.

Bournemouth is very friendly, not too pushy, extremely helpful for parts and keenly priced on used stock to appeal to a wider audience.
