I have to replace my front crank seal as its been leaking since I got the car back and progressively getting worse. Also have to redo the front and rear of the valley gasket,
I have ordered a new composite gasket with rubber seals and two new metal clamps, and will be ordering a new crank seal shortly.
What is the best gasket sealant to use? I have tried various types in the past and still get a leak under boost!
I'm venting the crankcase to atmosphere using two small kn filters but I'm thinking of cutting the tops off the flame traps and fitting bigger filters. I have tried using the pcv system with a check valve but this doesn't seem to help in fact it makes things worse.
As I'm at work till next week can anyone be so kind and measure the OD of he flame trap in the middle, cheers!

Drill your dizzy bung, connect a pipe and put a pressure gauge on the end. That will give you an acid test that the PCV is pulling a vacuum in the crankcase, which it will if the tubes are connected up to the right pressure points in the induction.
