United Utilities van sign

Stuck behind a small UU van t'other day, whilst in traffic, and noticed a printed sign on the back, stating that;
" To help us reduce our carbon footprint, this van is limited to 70 mph".

Seems a bit odd, bearing in mind that, sticking to the speed limit, 70 mph is the max the van should be travelling at anyway.

Unless they do alot of work involving very long private driveways.

But it got a christmas bonus and a pat on the back for the UU environmental impact project liaison officer.
Next week is a nationwide leaflet campaign on their recycling paper initiative.
