Just seeing if anyone is on here from my home town. Still miss the place, don't know why, but do.

I used to work there in the 1980's selling motorcycles in Barry Motorcycle Centre on Cardiff Road. Recently took my daughter to Barry Island and was rather saddened to see just how run down it has become from it's former glory days.

They're trying to redevelop the town but it's a slow process.

No it didn't. It caused £2,000,000 worth of improvements
