Fuse prolem with nr.19 petrol pump....

Had the car started today with help of the R.A.C it would not start because the fuelpump swith had blown, we changed it and it started and runned nice for about 15min, i stopped the car, parked it and tryed it again now 4hours later, and it started and then it died, i went back to check the fuse and it was blown, any suggestion of what this might be?? I have never ever had any problem with this car before which is a 96 4.2 cerb
