who are the heads from?
as i understood it the big (std 500 or the wildcat) heads were too big on the 500 making it lumpy low down with no extra bhp.
True, something along the lines of the venturi effect I suppose, while the bigger valves allow more capacity they actually slow the airflow.
Low down aint so good but when on cam they work a treat especially with a big carb

i realise that yours is not a 500 but the effect must be the same?
(asking NOT criticising!!)
These are my std heads re-worked by cylinder head developments using tvr big stainless valves, the chambers were cc ed reading 25.2cc per chamber the car runs fantastic at the moment, however it is runing slightly lean and i need someone to remap the ignition however a few people have told me you cannot remap the landrover ecu and are trying to sell me a new ecu

any feed back on this issue would be appreciated. Thanks in advance Steve.....

Those are very small chamber volumes. Is that a correct figure? If so I'm curious as to how did they do that, welding? Rovers usually have a volume of 34 cc ish although pre sd1 heads are smaller still. Maybe you have those heads but now with bigger valves etc.? They look nice though
