Thanks for posting, enjoyed watching that, really brought out the inner pilot geek in me - GF was rolling her eyes at me being glued to the ipad!
Noticed how they were initially told by SFO to expect a visual approach before changing their mind - I would assume that you would have to be able to fly a visual approach on an A380 as a training requirement, but would you ever expect to actually have to fly one under normal ops?

Visual approaches are more common than you think.
Unless you're carrying out a low-visibility approach to an auto land, then all approaches end visually (!).
San Fran quite often offer a visual approach as well as a lot of the Caribbean islands which have little air traffic or airspace restrictions.
