So does anyone know what happened to the overfinch LSE on ebay?

Auction pulled with 3 days to go so I imagine it sold. Watching very closely and trying to persuade myself a blind bid was a good idea (!) as I couldn't get there in time.
Would have been interested to see what it would have reached.

I went to see it in daghenham - not great.
engine was a 5.3 Vortec put in after original expired - lucky to make 220 bhp - not a 5.7, exhaust blowing, floors rotten
patchy history, no v5c, shoddy repair work to arches etc.
i walked away - he did say someone was coming later that day so i assume it sold.

David,
The guy selling it had taken it in PX for a watch and it hadn't been on the road for two years.
He was the owner of the car wash on the Romford/Daghenham road opposite Imperials.
I had spoken to Damon Orloff (formerly of Overfinch) about it and he couldn't remember the car but it was a genuine conversion - I have seen enough of them to tell the badge-engineered fakes from the genuine ones.
The best thing the car had going for it was it's lovely interior - original RR - no overfinch bits but this is not unusual - some people paid the money for the mechanical work and liked the standard look - my Discovery for instance.
It would have been a money pit - of that there is no doubt - it was just too far gone to make it worthwhile for me to restore as a rolling restoration - shame though because it is a rare car.
