I really am NOT a fan of Brown cars. But it seems to be quite a fasionable colour at the moment ( BMW, VW, etc)

But this car looks pretty good to me. And for just over 2k. It's got to be worth it? The interior looks really good to me anyway.

Tried to buy this car, he will not sell unless you travel up to Aberdeen and look at it in person, will not let you buy it any other way, ie pay up front, then get it collected by transport company.

On the surface Looks like a bargain to me. The colour doesn't bother me - I don't mind a bit of brown(insert you own joke here) and even if you sllow for a respray its still good value. if it wasn't for the distance involved(over 1000 mls round trip) it might have found its way onto my drive. Strange he's insisting on you viewing though- maybe he's just being a good egg and letting people see for themselves what they're getting into before he takes the money ?

I don't say that there's anything wrong with this approach but it strikes me that where it is has an impact on price - the cheapest TVRs tend to be in Scotland (sweeping generalisation I know).

I looked at it, thought "where is it?" and then more or less disregarded it on the basis of where it is. I would travel 200 miles to look at a car but 1,000 mile round trip makes you think....

I do realise that not all PHers are based in the south (I am in Bristol) but my theory on this is that the catchment of possible buyers is much smaller north of the border and I think if it was for sale somewhere more central - or the home counties in particular - it would be priced higher.

The wedge is local to me, met the owner a few times and a nice chap who has a passion for cars, so knows his stuff. He has lots of projects hence the wedge up for sale, its a great price, he is open and honest about the niggles and I would offer to take photos for any interested parties but I'm away on business next week.
As for the distance to travel, well I think the seller has considered this in the pricing, London flights are not expensive plus there is always the drive back and coming to Scotland is not that scary anymore now William Wallace is no more laugh

For just over a grand more than the white resto job that just sold it strikes me as an absolute bargain

So did they drive all the way to Aberdeen to view it then drive it back, as the seller required.

Hi

From what I understand they were/are flying up and driving it back.
Bit risky that because car could be a baden (Don't think its) or other problems!
