Mine are looking a bit tired... thinking of wrapping them, as i have a real carbon aeroscreen and boot panels.

Anyone had any success?

Was thinking of maybe wrapping nose cone and bonnet if this is successful.

i have seen good results- not sure about longevity though.

I'd never be able to do it to a car of my own though for the fear/embarrassment of someone asking if its real carbon. paperbag

The first time I saw a car in vinyl wrap I thought "Oh dear", but that was just plain white - I've seen others since, and it seems quite an attractive idea as you can change (relatively easily compared to a repaint) every once in a while.
Good luck, hope it turns out well.

I saw some 3M ( I think ) carbon wrap recently and had to have several takes to check it wasn't real. My friend near Croydon applied it at his business. Get some samples first, hopefully see some applied ( in daylight ) to a car and lastly get a professional to apply it!!!

The 3m stuf is the best. I put some on my wishbones as they were a bit stone chiped. They look new now and realy good

This is the car.

The carbon on the boot and aeroscreen is real.

I like the colour scheme, but when you see it up close the GRP is quite tired... it's 20 years old!!

The 3M DiNoc carbon effect has no real longevity when applied to the exterior of the car ie zero stone chip resistance .. been there, done that. It is lovely however, but be aware that it can/will look messy once you pick up the odd wee chip, etc! :/
