one bid at 550,000 dollars.

thats quite a collection and he is going to be pretty rich.

I wish I had the money AND the space to house this amount of games.

would make my life tbh.

I am guessing that one bid is either a joke of a shill bid! But that is one hell of a collection.

Wow!

Wasn't expecting that. It's good enough for a museum opening. Or a entry into the Guinness book of records.

My word. I hope for his sake that the highest bidder actually has the cash to complete.

Absolutely amazing and ridiculous! biggrin

Why did he buy multiple versions of the same console and never even open them?! hehe

Hope the person bidding is genuine. If you had the time and inclination you could probably sell it on again for a lot more in pieces. Sealed consoles especially really old ones, sell for a fortune sometimes.

I see the alledged "bidder" has his identity hidden (private). Seller admits he has another account, does not name it though.

Stinks to me I'm afraid.

That's nuts! I've had every Playstation console apart from the Vita. Lots of my PS1 and PS2 games were used since I was a kid at the time and couldn't afford much. Every PS3 game I own I bought new though, majority around time of release. I have over 40 PS3 games, 20 PSP, 60 PS2, and 85 PS1 games. I wouldn't even call myself a hardcore gamer either. Lots of the games were just cheap and were something to play after school or work for a few hours. Two years ago I all but stopped gaming and now I'll only play a handful of games and only buy games I really want. Next ones will be Grid 2 and GTA. Dread to think how much I've spent on gaming over the years though.

When you think through all the joy it provides, the cost doesn't seem so bad.

Looks completely legitimate to me and quite amazing, would love to own some of that stuff (though not sure I have room for 7,000 pc games...)
