Online gaming industry

Hi

I've just received a job offer from a well known household name bookmaker to work in Gibraltar as part of the online betting industry.

Currently weighing up whether to take the job or not. Does anyone have experience of what the online betting industry is like? Is this a good sector to move into? More importantly how does the cost of living compare to that in mainland UK, less tax to pay?

All ideas, opinions, suggestions and experiences gratefully received....

Is it the one starting with G?

I can't comment on living in Gibraltar etc, but industry is definetly a good one to go into.

There are many on-line betting companies based in Gib. I've been over a couple of times to help with IT solutions, they employ people from all over the world to cope with the multiple languages they have to deal with.

Many of the staff I spoke to actually lived over the border in Spain as it was cheaper than living in Gib itself.
