"Hundreds" on Ebay, must be something near as damn it the same ?

Unless they are physically broken you may well get away with just cleanindg the contacts, that's all mine needed to stop the door solenoids chattering scratchchin

I always thought they were off a ford fiesta but may be the same a a vauxhall too.

I own a 98 Chimaera and Mk 5 Fiesta and they look the same.

I couldn't undo the screws to change mine as my drivers one is temperamental, and was worried if i would cause damage if i tried an impact driver to undo it!

They're not just for the courtesy lights either. They tell the locking module whether the doors are open or closed. When I got my Chim first I had awful trouble opening the doors at times and it turned out to be one of these not contacting properly.
