Clutch is away on my 2001 Celica. Anyone have a rough idea of the going rate to have it replaced?

Give http://www.japarts.co.uk/ a ring for the parts. Just got an Aisin clutch kit for a 190 for £102 delivered although they said they were selling them off.

Book price for labour at local independent was £208+VAT.

Thanks. Local garage quoted me 300, part + fitting.

That's very good, especially since garages I spoke to wanted almost £200 just for parts.

damn .. That's a nice price.

I've replaced both disc and pressure plate at a Toyota dealer and they charged me north of 900€ (2ZZ engine)

Ouch! I'm sure Toyota make the prices up. They wanted £120 a side to replace the front droplinks on mine. I paid £12.99 (again japarts.co.uk) for parts and £35 for fitting (couldn't quite manage it on axle stands).
