Little toggle switches??????

I have two small (read miniscule) toggle switches either side of the steering wheel. They "latch" one way, have a "central position" and "push to make" the other way. What are they for? They seem to have no effect on anything????

Hi Andy. I think the left toggle should be indicators and the right toggle should be fuel pumps.

That's exactly how they are on my car, left indicators, right fuel pumps, however the left one "latches" left and right with a central "off" position, the right one is just either left or right, to correspond with what fuel tank you want to select, no central position.

The word miniscule points to it not being the 'factory' switch setup as those are quite robust switches.
Andy, Can you confirm that apart from these switches you have all the controls you would expect?

Random thoughts, do they operate the audio system, interior lights under the dash etc., zero any gauges, reset the clock, switch for the accusump, rad fan override, heater fan, nitros, raised tickover solenoid, ejector seat, air brakes, parachute.
Time to stop, my brain hurts.

I have been designing some reverse thruster to act over the afterburner exhaust system

Errrr I think I've discovered what they're for.... They appear to set the rev limiter and act as some sort of immobiliser system (Jacob's). Thank you for all the help though
