Performance air filter

I have recently bought a 996 4s after 14 years of Tvr ownership. The
car is amazing and I have a constant grin on my face I have always run a K & N element or cone filter on other cars, will I benefit from an element change on the 4S or not ?

Benefit, in terms of power? Unlikely. Power kit only squeezes 25 bhp and that involves head work, cams, valves, inlet, exhaust and a remap.

Try stay away from any kind of pre-oiled after market filter if possible because they can potentially foul up the maf sensor through time which in turn can have effect on fuelling/ performance, running issues etc
