Pistonheads email system

Hi can anyone tell me how this system works please ? I sent an email to a forum contributor.The system then said a copy of my email would go to me. Well, there is nothing in my ordinary private email box, but is there some place within the pistonheads wesbite I should be looking ?

Or maybe its not working any longer. I found a similar issue on the forum that was raised previously

It would arrive in your normal email. When it works. Bit hit and miss lately.

You do need to tick a box in your profile to accept members' email, so that would need to be done by the recipient, but I imagine you wouldn't get the option to email them if they'd not done that already.

Yep, maybe it's just a bit unreliable at times. All I can suggest is waiting a little longer.

I have never been able to get the PH email to work, seems useless to me. Why we can't send private messages between members i don't know? Come on PH sort it out!
